Our Hair


  • Do you take on custom orders?

    We have an array of styles and colour variations available in our range. Our wigs are customisable, if done professionally. We can customise the colour and texture of some of our wigs, and will shortly be offering a custom wig design service. You can contact us here to find out more about this. 

  • Do you offer other hair colours, other than the ones online?

    Yes, we do. Have you seen our Next To Natural Colour Match service? This service offers colour-matching assistance as well as a range of samples to try before you buy, that would suit those with balayage, highlights and ombre styles.

  • How can I find out what hair texture works for me?

    At Next To Natural, our range is currently made up of eight different hair textures: 

    • Indian Hair (Straight, Wavy, Curly): A silky hair texture with a similar texture and density to European hair, very versatile and easy to style. Blends well with most hair types and has a light, bouncy feel to it, Indian hair varies in different curl pattern from straight to soft deep curls. Indian hair will maintain its silky texture & last just as long as Russian hair with proper care and maintenance. Indian hair is naturally dark. 
    • Russian Straight / Wavy: Naturally fine and soft texture making it the perfect match western hair types, also slightly thicker giving lots of body and movements. Russian hair is available in light blonde to dark brown to black.
    • Kinky Straight / Curly: Suitable for clients with thicker hair, tighter coils and longer hair length of Afro textured, it is naturally dry in texture and can be soft and fine or course and wiry. This hair type is bouncy, lustrous and big in volume. Suitable for afro hair types.
    • Burmese Curly: A mixed hair texture that would complement those with hair textures found in South and East Asia.

  • How can I find the colour that best matches my hair?

    Have you tried our Colour Match service? This is where you’ll find a larger range of colour blends, including ombre, highlights and balayage. Colour samples are available to purchase so that you can try before you buy. Alternatively, contact our Customer Care Team, who will be happy to assist with any queries relating to your colour choice. 

  • How do I know which type of hair extensions to purchase?

    As we want you to have the best Next To Natural look, we would advise that you speak with your hairstylist or hair professional, who can advise on the installation method that would best suit your hair type. 

  • What is Remy hair?

    Remy hair is hair where all the cuticles are facing in the same direction from root to tip. Remy hair is soft and silky, easier to main and tangle- free. All next to natural hair is classed as Remy hair. 

  • What is the difference between Virgin and Remy hair?

    Virgin Hair is Untouched, raw human hair which has not been bleached, permed, dyed, processed, or chemically altered. Remy Hair is Human Hair collected directly from a hair donor with the cuticle still intact. Virgin hair refers to hair that is completely unprocessed and intact. 

  • Which professional application method is best?

    This very much depends on your hair type and what you want to achieve. To find out which application is best suited for you and your hair, we recommend booking a consultation with a professional stylist before getting hair extensions fitted.

  • How long should my hair extensions last?

    There are two factors that will largely determine this: the type of hair used, and also aftercare and regular maintenance. Proper aftercare has the greatest effect on increasing the lifespan of your hair extensions.

  • Can I heat my extensions?

    As this is natural hair, yes you can! However, heat will always have a lasting effect on hair, so treat your Next To Natural extensions like your own. Ensure that you are using the correct products to protect the hair from heat damage, and also try to limit heat use on the hair for longer-lasting performance.

  • How many packs do I need?

    It really depends on your natural hair type and the style that you are trying to achieve. Creating thicker and voluminous styles will require more materials for that effect. We have a wide selection of hair extensions to suit all hair needs and desires. We would recommend consulting with your hairstylist to discuss the specifics of this.

  • Can I colour my hair extensions?

    Human hair can be coloured but we do not recommend it. Any hair that is coloured will be carried out at your own risk. Next To Natural will not accept any hair extensions that have been coloured or changed from its original form. 

  • Are hair extensions suitable for me?

    Seeking a professional consultation is advised if you are unsure about getting hair extensions fitted.

  • Where is Next To Natural’s hair extensions from?

    Next To Natural source raw, 100% remy virgin human hair from regions in India, Southern Russia and Mongolia, only ever using ethical processes and sources.


    Because of the great lengths we go to with sourcing and testing, we are able to make promises about our products being the healthiest in human hair extension quality. Our virgin hair extensions undergo intense triple-phase processing, analysing and assessment - for quality, colour, comfort and durability. 



    Is Next To Natural’s hair ethically sourced?

    We source our hair from verified partners, who pride themselves on their long-standing reputation for ethical sourcing of quality hair. Human hair is donated, sold, or exchanged fairly and ethically in the region it’s sourced. Selling hair is a supplementary source of income for women, which does not require any labour.


    Our factory partners source hair from regions all over the world, renowned for women donating healthy, strong and long hair lengths that are never chemically treated. The majority of human hair used in our extensions comes from India, Russia and Asia.

  • Can I amend my order once it has been confirmed?

    Unfortunately, you cannot amend your order once it has been placed. Please contact our customer care team info@nexttonatural.co.uk if you have any queries.

  • Can I track my order?

    Yes, you can track your order. Once your order has been shipped, you can sign into your account to track your order you will receive an email confirmation containing your tracking number or alternatively you can sign into your account to track your order.track your order here

  • Can I cancel my order?

    We start to process your order as soon as we receive it, to ensure that you receive your purchase as quickly as possible! This means that once your order has been placed, you will be unable to cancel or edit it.

  • I've received the wrong order, what should I do?

  • I've received a faulty item, what should I do?

  • I can't find the product I'm looking for online?

    If you can’t find a product on our website, please click here to contact our Customer Care Team and we can look into this for you.

  • Can I change my order, seeing as it hasn’t yet been shipped.

    Although your order has not shipped, it will be in processing. You are welcome to contact Customer care if this is the case. While we will do our best to help you, we cannot 

    guarantee that changes will be able to be made. 


Delivery and Shipping


  • What delivery options do you offer?

    Please see below a list of our Delivery options for the UK and Rest of the World. There is no Next day service at the moment. 


    Please note: All International Delivery Costs are now measured at the weight of your parcel including the territory you want your parcel shipped too. All international prices stated online is the minimum delivery cost. Please ensure you check the quote given for your parcel to be delivered to your selected country before placing your order.

  • I have been charged customs and duty fees, in addition to shipping. Why?

    Unfortunately, if you are an International customer then you will be charged for customs and import taxes. This will depend on the weight of your parcel and the country the parcel has been shipped to. Next to natural is not responsible for any customs or import costs.

  • What should I do if my order does not arrive?

    If your order does not arrive we advise checking with neighbours or if the item has been left in a safe place. A calling card will be left by the courier advising of the parcels location. If you are still unable to retrieve your parcel please contact us within 24 hours and we can contact the courier to raise an investigation.


  • How do I return an item?

    You can return some items to us within 14 days of receipt. Due to the nature and hygiene of our products, ALL products must be unopened and in its original shipped condition for the return to be accepted. Any products that have been opened or tampered with will not be accepted for a refund. Please click here to start your return.

    Please note: Returns and Exchanges are not permitted on colour swatches and wigs.

    The following information is required when requesting a refund. 

    • Confirmation email containing your Order number.
    • Reason given for returning items.
    • Receipts showing any return postal charges if you are claiming a full refund for damaged, faulty or incorrectly delivered items.

    You will be responsible for all return shipping and reshipping costs.

  • Can I exchange items?

    Yes exchanges are accepted within 14 days of receipt. Due to the nature and hygiene of our hair products, ALL products must be unopened and in its original shipped condition for an exchange to be accepted. Please click here to start your exchange process.  

    Please note: Returns and Exchanges are not permitted on colour swatches and wigs.

    The following information is required when requesting an exchange. 

    • Confirmation email containing your Order number.
    • Reason given for returning items.
    • Receipts showing any return postal charges if you are claiming a full refund for damaged, faulty or incorrectly delivered items.
  • Do I have to pay to return an item?

    Unfortunately, we do not have a free returns system. Please email our customer care team for faulty items. 

  • How long does a return take to process?

    Refunds can take  up to 14 days from the day we receive your return in our warehouse. Please allow 3-5 working days from your refund notification for the funds to clear in your account. We'll be sure to keep you updated. 

  • Do you refund the delivery charge?

    Unfortunately, the delivery charge will not be refunded as this service has been obtained.

  • If I exchange an item, do I have to pay for delivery again?

    If you wish to exchange an item then don’t worry, we’ve got you! Once we’ve received items back in its original sale condition, please allow 5 working days for your exchange to be processed and dispatched.


Promotional Code


  • How do I use a promotional code?

    If there are promotions running at the time you purchase, you will enter the promotional code at the checkout stage of your order in the Discount code box. Please be aware that promotion codes are case sensitive. If you have any problems please contact info@nexttonatural.co.uk and one of our Customer care team will assist you further.

  • Where do I enter the promotion code?

    Promotion codes are entered at the checkout stage of your order in the Discount Code box. Please note that promotional codes are case sensitive.

  • I forgot to add the promotion code, can this still be applied?

    If you have forgotten to enter a promotional code this cannot be applied after the order has been placed. Please contact info@nexttonatural.co.uk  if the code is not working and one of our Customer care team will be happy to help.

  • Why doesn't my promotion code work?

    We’re sorry to hear this, there could be a number of reasons why the promotion code doesn't work. Please email our Customer care team at info@nexttonatural.co.uk  where a member of our team is a hand to assist you further. Please note that discount codes are not valid on sale items, unless otherwise stated.
